An Ongoing Nautical Campaign
Traders, privateers, and raiders brave the churning waters of the Hammer Sea, seeking fortune among the lonely, rocky isles scattered across its vast expanse. Its frigid depths and treacherous currents claim the lives of many. Have you the grit to crew The Old Lager, a sea-worn cog still battling the cold, storm-lashed waters of the far south?
Setting: Grey-Fjörd Archipelago — a perilous realm of jagged islands, hidden coves, and storm-lashed waters of the Hammer Sea.
Game Style: A high-adventure nautical campaign of exploration, trade, treasure hunting, and daring high-seas action. Players will encounter both roleplay and tactical challenges aboard ship and on land in a PG-13 atmosphere. The game emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and a supportive group dynamic, allowing every adventurer to shine while navigating the Hammer Sea.
Rules: Primarily using D&D 5e 2024. Alternative 5e-adjacent rulesets (D&D 5e 2014, Level Up: Advanced 5e, Kobold Press’ Tales of the Valiant) may be used for character creation with the DM’s approval.
Character Levels: Start at 1st level. The first session serves as a soft session zero with brief encounter or two to establish characters and backgrounds.
